Is it normal to crack my toes?

I crack my toes every morning when I wake up, and every night before I go to sleep. I crack my fingers as well, but I don't really feel much of a compulsion to do it and so I don't do it very often. I crack my toes on the floor and it can make a pretty loud noise too. The first time my brother saw me do it, he jumped and was like "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? there is something wrong with you man you are going to die!"

My physio says it's just fluid redistributing (or something, I wasn't really listening) so there's no truth to the whole 'cracking causes arthritis' thing.

My toes crack when I do some of my pilates. I can't get them to do it otherwise. My knees crack when I climb stairs, but I suspect that's just fucked.

I went to a chiropractor who cracked every joint in my body. It was a mistake - I'm convinced it helped contribute to my herniated disc. Hurrah. But the cracking felt fucking good at the time :)

    I discovered cracking when I was 10.
I'm now 40. And I still crack every possible joint in my body.
I can't help it. It's always been a habit, and I can't stop. And if I try to stop, my joints get "stiff". Not really stiff, but it feels like they REALLY need a crackin' to me. So I can't help it, and I crack them.

I used to crack my kneecaps on the bottom of the desks at school.
Sometimes I crack my thighs at my hips.
    I always crack my neck.
I used to crack my back all the time, loving the thrill of a great continuous cracking sound all the way down.
I crack my knuckles at every possible joint in my fingers. (this is what started it ALL.)
    I crack my elbow joints.
    I crack my wrists constantly.
And yes...I crack my toes ALL the time.

I've done this for 30 years now.
And I don't have arthritis in any joint anywhere. I don't have pain, swelling, or any effects from cracking myself hundreds of times a day.

My chiropractor once told me though, that I have a REALLY flexible neck. Like, I can almost look backwards, it stretches so far.
I guess that's from all the pushing of my chin to the side, to crack my neck.

Oh...and I crack my jaw once in a while.
    And my ankles.

My son has taken after me, and started cracking everything too. I don't like it, cause it's probably a compulsive habit, but since I know that nothing's going to come of it, I let him go.

After all....if feels great, doesn't it?

My body naturally pops when I walk. I am not sure why it does it but it always will. I can not bend my arm, fingers, toes, legs, foot or neck or shoulders without a pop.
