I dunno why I'm like this, whenever I'm sick especially if there's fever I feel so sad and weak and then I start crying like a little girl! Btw I'm a girl in my 20s.

Almost 21 and i do it just like i did when i was 5.Not because i am sad or have a low pain tolerance.It just happens,cant help it and i hate it.Worst is the headache you add to all your problems for no reason.Few months ago i got a fever after a lecture and i walked all the way home crying.like hicup crying.totally embarrased.
I've been in the bed all day because I have some sort of stomach bug. I've always got teary-eyed when I'm sick. Today I got upset because I really want to go to my sons soccer game but I don't feel good and tears just started spilling out and I've always wondered why do I do this when I'm sick and not feeling well. I'm 30 and a nurse. I guess it's because you are at a weak moment and can't help feeling sad about the way you feel and that you're not able to do the things you would like to when your normally healthy. It still fells weird though to seemingly cry for no good reason and I'm not usually a crier over anything to often. So I guess my defenses are down when I'm sick...body and mentally.
I've been sick the last few days (vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, exhaustion. YUCK!!!). I felt relatively fit for work this morning, so I go to work. A few hours in, I feel myself becoming more and more tired, and my stomach is churning inside me more and more. I was about to go ask the boss if I could go home for a rest, when she walks in. She asked me how I was feeling (I took a day of before the weekend when I was sick.), and I just burst into tears. She thought she had upset me, but it was just cos I was so sick and exhauseted. Kinda embarrassing. haha.The same thing happened when I got home and my mum asked me how I was. Then I asked her if it was normal to cry when I'm sick. She suggested that my hormones might be all out of whack too, with my body trying to get better. So I say it is normal. haha.

When I'm sick I'm just very irritable and easily annoyed...even by a New Yorker standards.
when im sick i cry when i feel sick or just plain uncomfortable. having a fever just makes me feel floaty, hot, feverish (obviously) and a very weird feeling. but when i had swine i cried too it was a week in hell, let me tell you
I'm almost 20 years old and I always cry when I'm sick. It just makes me feel so weak and helpless and pathetic that I can't help but feel sorry for myself.
no when i'm sick i just can't stop complaining...i can't bear to stay lied down on my bed while all my friends out are having fun...poor mom who has to stand my complaints
lol its alittle pathetic but i do it too. i just feel like a big wimp when i do it but at some point i am just so miserable that i give in and whine like a 3 year old. :)

I will behave exactly like that too!! Especially when i am having fever..i am so weak and i always think that i would just die like thay..feel so helpless and then cry out loud..haha!!
