Is it normal to dislike people who use wheelchairs?

Ok, so basically, I've come to figure out that I really seem to have a problem with people who use wheelchairs instead of walking. Maybe, this isn't how ALL people are who use wheelchairs, but the ones that I've come across seem to think that because they're disabled and use a wheelchair--that they can act/say rude things in front of me and think that I'm supposed to be OK with it because of their "disability"?? This actually happened at a family function.

My cousin has 2 friends who are in wheelchairs--and he brought both of these friends with him. I swear to God, these people had to be the Rudest/Most annoying people I think I have ever come across in my life. I was almost tempted to flip their chairs over if it would of got them to close their MOUTHS for 10 minutes!!

Next time, if my cousin brings these two trolls to any kind of family function ever again, I will just refuse to attend and make up an excuse as to why I cant come. I think I would invite Charles Manson or the Ku Klux Klan to come to a family party before I invite those two wheelchair a$sholes to a family party!

Just because people have disabilities, doesn't mean they're not arseholes.

But it also doesn't mean that just because you've met a few arseholes in wheelchairs, that EVERYONE in a wheelchair is an arsehole.

Oh, and they don't 'use wheelchairs instead of walking' - for most, walking isn't actually an option.

    Arsehole.

Yeah, you're right kitty cat but it's true.

An old Jewish guy from Philadelphia taught me that one and he learned it from his wife who used to hear it from her grandmother. He told me it sounds better in Yiddish.

Ah no it's the other way around. Arseholes would have the monopoly on politicians.

And yes, I'm intentionally being an arsehole and a pedant.

I've never had an experience like that. The worst I've gotten from a wheelchair person was this woman who always seemed to go shopping at the same grocery store as me (like 3 different ones) and ask for help reaching cucumbers and milk or anything else she couldn't reach with her cane thing. It wasn't a negative experience though, just very odd and almost stalkerish. But she was very nice and thankful.
