Ok i have a Cat named edgar and sometimes i like him and sometimes i hate him. He follows me around everywhere and it pisses me off. If he follows me to the kitchen i will boil some water and pour it on his back and he runs everywhere and starts climbing on the walls. the other day he jumped on me and woke me up out of my sleep 30 mins before my alarm clock went off for work and i was so mad that i turned on the ceiling fan and i threw him up into it and he flew across the room and smacked into my tv.

Sometimes when he wont leave me alone i step on his tail and pull his arms as far as they can go until he makes the hiss sound and then i punch him in his face.

is it normal to do these things to a cat?

    If this story isn't fake I strongly urge you to give Edgar to someone who won't hurt him.

    What you say you are doing is animal ABUSE and it is wrong.

    As a cat lover myself this story saddens and sickens me. So to answer your question, it's not normal.

    Please give the cat to someone who will care for him properly and get yourself some psychiatric help because you need it.

    If this is real, I see a sociopath. Serial killers usually start out by torturing and killing animals before moving on to humans. There's no cure for this kind of thing. The problem is that such people don't believe there's anything wrong with their actions, and since they have no capacity for empathy, and in fact usually get off on doing these things, there's little point telling a sociopath to restrain themselves.

    This is one of those rare occasions where I wouldn't care if such a person killed him/herself, for the sake of every sentient being within their reach (if they are, in fact, a sociopath).
