So I can eat a sandwich and play with a yo-yo at the same time. Does that count?
What you're talking about is her attention span. She's paying attention to Facebook instead of you. Here's a little experiment for you: try reading a book with a tv show on. See if you can pay attention to both at once.
I can drink and eat at the same time IT'S CALLED CEREAL BIIIIIIIIIIITCH!
Yes, sometimes I'll ask a coworker a question while he is texting and he doesn't hear me.
It depends.
I can personally "hyperfocus" which means I can focus on one thing to the exclusion of most everything else. I do it mostly when I'm reading.
I however can also multitask.
She could be doing that or... she may simply be ignoring you.
Wait you are talking about when being on the phone right? Well just ignore her back she'll get the hint/message
Seriously i can't do two things at once, everything goes in and out through the other ear. If shes not giving you her full attention why be on the phone? Hang up on her
My friend does the same thing. They actually can hear you, but choose to ignore. Sorry it doesn't mean they aren't normal but they are a bit ignorant.
I don't think it's a problem. She probably just concentrates/focuses on the one thing that she's doing and unintentionally cancels out the rest.
