I drink a gallon of vodka a week. It's disgusting when I think about it. Even worse is I start drinking at (roughly) 8 pm and finish around 11 pm. That's it. A gallon a week drank in 3 hours each day.
Is this normal at all?
that is the equivalent of 12 shots a day (or 4 shots an hour if you are only drinking 3 hours each day)......that is definitely not normal. You are probably in a drunken stupor most of the day.
I don't drink in the daytime. I start at around 8 pm and finish around 11 pm then I go to bed. I'm sober all day.
Thats about the same as me! I start at 5pm and finish at 9pm. Normally while on my play station. I make my own Vodka so it don't cost too much. But i did get pulled over one morning by the Flick and was over the limit, if you drive to work be careful.
but you drink so excessively during those 3 hours that the effects of it would be long lasting and extremely detrimental.
i guarantee that if you drove early in the morning (8am or 9am) and you took a breathalyzer, you would fail.
Maybe if you keep practicing you can get your consumption up to a respectable level.

I made a dramatic speech about quitting drinking once too. That didn't go so far.

B. I only know because I buy my liquor so I can't help but notice how often I make the 30 minute trek to the liquor store.

b. I'm dreaming of the day I don't have to buy my booze, maybe some sort of sponsorship. Maybe you should buy in larger quantity, cheaper per unit of booze minus the transportation costs.

My mother in law drinks a gallon every 4 days plus she drinks 6 cans of beer a day.

Normal or not, that's an insane amount of alcohol to drink in such a short amount of time. Be careful not to quit too abruptly, as you will probably be one of the ones who gets delirium tremens. But if you don't cut back, you could get cirrhosis or possibly alcohol poisoning, especially if you drink that much at once after not drinking for a while.
Switch to wine as it is healthier. Experts say that you should drink a glass a day.
Wine gives me horrible stomach pain. Besides, wine is around 15% alcohol while vodka is 40-50% so as you can see, I'd have to drink about 3 times as much to equal the vodka.
The stomach pain could be from the fermentation process. Just about every time I have consumed something that contained wine, I would get digestive discomfort which would result in me having to relieve myself of colonic waste.
There's a vodka that made from cow's milk called,"Black Cow". If you are up for adventure, you'd might want to try it.
Oh I bet you're one of those jerks who has an issue donating spare change because "they might spend it on booze or drugs". That kind of shit pisses me right the fuck off. I'm not being hostile to you personally its just that this shit is one of the very few things that royally pisses me off.
Think what you want that's what free will is for just like I (and anyone else) has the right to decide what happens to my body and my money. I feel no need to rationalize how I exercise my personal prerogative. As Iong as you don't try to convince me why I should change I won't feel hostile or make anything personal.

Why would someone, who is drinking responsibly might I add, have any effect whatsoever on you being an organ donor? Because in your opinion they drink too much?? I guess you'll feel bad since your organs aren't being used "correctly" lol ? But then again won't you be dead, what the fuck difference does it make where your organs end up?
I just don't believe in liver replacement for people who destroy their's with excessive drug and alcohol use. Dead or alive my body parts are mine just like my money and It's my right to leave whatever I want to whoever I want or not anyone at all if I so choose.
In all honesty whether staying home or not you'd probably be drinking anyway, so doing it at night, in the safety of your own house is a good decision in my opinion. Drinking that particular quantity of alcohol can't be healthy physically or psychologically but its your health and your liver, and we'll all be dead one day anyway so if you like it, then cheers.
That sounds very expensive and unhealthy in lots of ways. You should work on cutting down. What have you got to lose?
