Is it normal to eat foods you know are really bad for you?

I have a sensitive stomach which has bad reactions to certain foods I love and grew up eating. However, I will eventually go back to eating certain "off limits" "foods" that I know will cause uncomfortable/painful reactions. I grew up eating the foods I love only to find out later in life that they are bad for me.

I voted yes, as we eat those foods for their taste.

It's normal. When I was a kid I used to love peanuts, ice cream, peanut butter, and stuff with low calorie sweeteners, but they clog me up pretty bad now. They're a rare treat that I am willing to take a risk for.

As long as you eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, proteins and drink plenty of water you're good as well but otherwise it's pretty normal if we grow up to eat the food stay we love at the first sense of taste.

I don't know exactly how 'normal' this is. I've done similar. First off, it took me a very long time before I learned what foods were bad for me. I continued eating some of them because I was either addicted to them or I just didn't care. I'm at the point now where I'm completely fed up with being chronically unwell and am ready to change.
