Is it normal to eat/rip skin off your arm
One day my dog scratched me and a slab of skin was hanging off so I ripped it off. I didn't know what to do with it so I ate a little, it tasted kinda good so now I continue to eat/rip my arm skin off.

This reminds me of Goldmember. Every time, his skin would peel off, he would quickly have to put it away or he would eat it.
It wasn't normal when he did it and it's certainly not normal when you do.
Who honestly doesn't like peeling dead skin off? It's so fresh and tender underneath, but eating it? WTF is wrong with you?
I burn very badly in the sun and my arm skin comes off in sheets. I have to admit, I quite like peeling it off. It feels like unwrapping it and it's fresh beneath. It's also quite stretchy.
I'd never eat it, though. Yuck.
