Is it normal to eat wool when you have your period?

i always get a weird craving for it, dont ask my why. im not pregnant so...

    I know pica (a condition where people eat non-food substances) is common in pregnant women. I know you say you aren't pregnant, but it could be something similar to do with the hormones of your period.
    I don't think it's a harmful disorder, but it might be worth looking into pica or talking about it with a doctor.

    Maybe, it's the softness and comfort that the wool provides? Perhaps, it has a soothing effect that counters the pains of your period?

    Do you "eat" it or "swallow" it?
