I saw this woman on the train sitting opposite me pick off some crusty boogers from her child's nose then pop it in her mouth!!! I nearly spewed.

    It's not normal, and somehow, I completely believe you. I have seen people on public transportation do very disgusting things.

    Ew. I've known parents to suck boogers out of their infants noses when they're congested, but that's usually with an apparatus and no ingestion is involved.
