Is it normal to edit my inn posts/messages?

I had to edit out some of the superfluous stuff from my post and add some details, but more importantly I was editing my forum messages like a minute or longer after I sent them in the middle of the conversation, so I am afraid my interlocutor didn’t read it

    Editing your posts, and the comments you make on the posts of others is certainly much better than what many others borderline illiterate people do online. I think you should pat yourself on the back, and keep up the good work.
