Is it normal to end up in an area different from your academic major?
I am about to graduate in International Relations, yep the highly theoretical study of politics, economics, trade and law on a global level and the interaction of the various global actors (nation-states, corporations, intergovernmental organizations and NGO's). However, I intend to follow a career in Supply Chain Management/International Logistics due to a practical experience that I had (Internship in logistics departament of an international shipyard) and also a. Does it make any sense? Being graduated in Inernational Relations and pursuing a career in International Logistics. (Btw, I am 26 years old and can't afford another college degree)
