Is it normal to enjoy handling wild reptiles?

I catch small reptiles when they are present such as lizards and snakes. I know which ones are poisonous and stay away from them. The ones that are safe, I gently handle them and then let them go. This never gets old.

I am the same way, except I am not limited to reptiles. I have caught many injured animals of all kinds and nursed them back to health and then release them. I always have since I was little. Btw, the crocodile hunter was the best!

  • My father just caught a rubber boa for me. I'm returning it to it's natural habitat tomorrow morning. I think lizards, snakes, frogs, toads, salamanders, and turtles are really interesting. Because I like it, I think it's normal that you do too.

  • I think it's normal, I'm sure I would do the same thing if I were younger and there would be any living here. Although I'm happy to have none of them here now that I'm older.

I've got a wild reptile you can handle dear. It's a snake, but be careful - it bites.
