Is it normal to enjoy watching videos of cats mating?

I've recently started watching online videos of purebred cats mating. It's not sexual- I just think they look funny and cute. I've started thinking about getting a purebred cat and mating it with someone else's purebred and having a house full of adorable little kittens.

Is this normal? I'm a woman over 30 who, while happily married, isn't interested in having children. Could this be my maternal instincts kicking in, or is it something else?

    I don't understand the link between enjoying the mating and wanting kittens.

    I mean, when people coo over a baby, they aren't thinking about the parents naked, having sex.

    It just seems a strange link to me, and it doesn't feel like the two things are actually connected.
