Is it normal to fall in love with someone from your dreams?

I have never been in love, but one night, I dreamt about an african guy whom I fell in love with and even had a child. Now, I know it's just a dream but, every time I remember that scene of him smiling at me, in love, I fall more for him, eventhough he's not real! Is this even normal? To love someone that only exists in your dreams? I've never seen him but still, I'm in love with him! If someone knows what this is, please tell me, I'd love to know. Thank you.
