I have a massive crush on my best friend (we're both girls). She has a boyfriend and she says that she's straight.

I really fancy her and sometimes I imagine kissing her or what it will be like to be in a relationship with her.

Is this normal? And what should I do?

    If your friend is straight, just stop it, if you care about your friendship more. If you do tell her that you fancy her, you might end up breaking up.

    I think it's totally natural. Back when i was turning 13, i had a friend who i felt deeper about and she actually liked me more than i thought. Problem was, she changed. She liked guys and girls, though i wasn't ready for that reality to date a girl yet.

    It's totally normal for girls to be attracted to other girls. It doesn't mean you are bisexual or anything. Maybe you could ask to borrow her lipgloss and see how she responds.

      lesbian: a girl who is attracted to girls
      bisexual: someone who is attracted to both genders

        girls can be attracted to girls and be totally straight, but it's not the same for guys.

          Based on what? This is ludicrous. Guys can also find things about other men attractive without being gay. It's called a sexual preference for a reason.

          Furthermore, why would that be true for girls but not guys?
