Is it normal to fart in your pet's face?

I fart in my cat's face a lot. I don't physically hold her down or anything. I just casually walk over and position my ass in her face and then let one rip. She always looks surprised but i think likes the smell. Any of you lot do this too?

Your cat does the same thing, you're just not aware. She probably has posted the same question on cats' IIN: "Is it normal to fart in your human's face?"

Cat farts are kinda wispy, and ephemeral. Feline farts are fleeting.

        Very alliterative.

    • She does, and I am aware. They are stinky and bad

My brother farted in my dog, Blackie's face and she bit his ass cheek and wouldn't let go. It was funny seeing him yelp in pain.

        Yeah, she looked like this:

Was a good dog. I probably should've mentioned she's been gone since 2012. That dog always knew when someone was making fun of her. She usually reacted very poorly: she would attack the teaser and whine and bark at them.
        :)

        • Did she die because your brother farted in her face?

    To the OP -
I do not fart in front of ANY living creature. Not even plants.

But also, please do not get Rose started about cats. This forum would go into core melt down.

In Ancient Egypt people were put to death for harming cats. People would shave off their eyebrows to signify that they were mourning the death of a beloved cat. All hail the great, and mighty Goddess Bast!

      Cats rule the internet!

You must not disrespect the whiskered ones. You must be made to understand that human beings are inferior to felines. Cat farts on the other hand are potent, yet ephemeral, and fleeting.
