Is it normal to fear the death of my boyfriend?

I'm always scared that something is going to happen to my boyfriend. I always think he is going to have a freak accident and die. Is it normal? Is it because I love him so much that I'm scared something might happen to him and he'll no longer be in my life? Is it normal?

normal. I'm the same way, it's because your so in love with him. I care too much about my boyfriend, that any thought of loosing him terrifies me, plus I already worry a lot. Just don't let it consume your thoughts, that can be unhealthy and mess with your relationship.

I used to be like that but dearest, this has something to do with your trust issues. "Live and let live." meaning let him live. He can take care of himself.

  • All phobias and ways of thinking begin first as a single thought. As an imagination planted inside your head which blossoms into what you're dealing with now.

If a thought is what brought you into this, then thinking positively will bring you out. I know it sounds cheesy but just thinking and saying positive things will completely reprogram your perception.

Nothing to worry about; NOT normal would be to yearn for your boyfriends death...

Normal. Sounds like you may even be projecting your own fear of dying onto him...

He's your boyfriend. You care for him, a lot. You don't want to lose him, and paranoia gets to you. It's normal, but it'll turn annoying if it's a chronic case of unnecessary fear.

My fiance thought it was sweet when I first stepped into that phase, then he went all, "Oh for the love of-, honey, stop it. It's getting on my nerves." after a few weeks.

... He's not an CIA undercover agent or a wanted pirate. Calm yo' balls.

It's said that after a woman plans her wedding, the next thing she plans is her husband's funeral.

It's natural to worry about your other half, but then you calm down after a few years, when you get sick looking at him!

    Totally normal.

After all, I'm going to kidnap him and pit him against bears in my colosseum.
