I don't think I'm capable of being mad at evil people for doing evil things. I know the stuff they do is bad and I do believe they're better off in jail, but I don't hate them for it. Most people say stuff like "if you hurt my child, I would kill you". I can't imagine wanting to kill anyone for hurting any of my loved ones. I'd just calmly call the cops and tell them what's up, more like "sorry bro, I have to do this now". In today's world where indignation is everywhere, I'm beginning to think something is seriously not right with me.

      See? That's what I'm talking about. Most people say exactly the same stuff you're saying now. And most other people sympathize with that But me? I think I totally wouldn't act like that, and I really wonder if that makes me weird

    I think it's stupid that people only care about children. This new generation is not gonna save us it's gonna destroy us.
    And I don't believe there is such a thing as evil people, because good and evil are always subjective. What's good to one person is evil to another, and vice versa. There is nothing objectively good or bad in this universe, because someone somewhere will have a different opinion.
    Also, not wanting to hurt someone is completely normal. The opposite is not and is unhealthy, vengeance is for the weak and is retarded.

    Ideally I think we would leave righteous indignation to God, while doing and promoting justice, and being kind. There are too many ways in which we ourselves are compromised to call down hellfire on people we think are worse than us.

    Between the ideal and the reality, however...

    I think it depends on the things you know or maybe you don’t realize actually matter to you - passionately - that have to be jeopardized for you to truly feel that anger because something is being done to something you care THAT deeply about. But you also have to be in a situation where that is tested to truly know this about yourself.

    My personal creed is that even the worst offenders deserve the same punishment. A bullet to the head. Simple as that, not flaying someone alive for their actions no matter how atrocious is what I consider to be just.
