Is it normal to feel lightheaded or a bit high almost when i cut myself?
I've used self harm to cope for a while now, and I've noticed a particularly long session will leave me feeling woozy despite little blood being lost. Is this normal?

Self harming can cause a type of high, due to the ‘feel good chemicals’ that are released. People who feel the need to/are addicted to self harming often have lower levels of these anyway, and so your long cutting sessions will cause a spike in these hormones. Hence why you’re feeling so woozy.
In terms of the self harm, make sure you’re doing it safely. Clean your wounds thoroughly as soon as you can and if you’re using razor blades and cutting, replace them as often as you can.
That'll be the endorphins, they give you a similar feeling to morphine/opioids.
You need more help than noted above. Why do you feel the need to cut yourself? That is what you need to find out. If you can't figure it out then a few psych sessions are called for.
why would you cut yourself, to begin with, it is very harmful and expect anything bad to happen
