Is it normal to feel like i'll never progress?

I feel like I'm living paycheck to paycheck, and just when I think I'm doing some significant saving, something ridiculous happens. I break a bone, blow out my tire or have to take a bereavement flight because a family member died.

Everything costs money!
Loads of money!
Mom says that's why I have savings, I feel like I'll never have enough to progress at life. I'm making just enough to break even.
Please tell me growing up gets easier than this, because at this rate, I'll be 20 forever.

    The same was with me. I got these feelings as well. Its normal. Sometime back, we hardly had money to make ends meet. Push yourself harder this time and I'm sure you'll reap the benefits. God bless you :)
