I have the impression most adults are drugged most of the time. Normality or sobriety is just a moral judgment about which drugs are allowed in which situations and which are not. Normality, in this sense, is just a collection of narratives for popular lifestyles.

    I remember I used to have to do heroin just to feel normal and not be sick. I didn't realize how non normal I was though until I stopped and it helped me think more clearly.
