Is it normal to feel sluggish in your 20s?

when i was a kid i could run all day outside or inside. i used to skateboard and ride bikes and swim with my buds all day all year. then i went to high school and there wasnt much to do activity wise but still i had my endurance up and could do activites for a long time.

then it happened.
i started college and i became a slob. im either in my bed, or on my computer chair during the day. 2% of the day im actually on my feet walking.

i can run up stairs and im good, but i cant skateboard easily anymore :( i tried the other day and i lasted about 10 minutes. i honestly felt off balance and almost dizzy. i was tired for the rest of the day kinda.

i just turned 21 and im not overweight. actually im considered underweight. if i gain 2 lbs and im at a healthy bmi.

is this normal? and how do i get back my kid and teen like endurance?

I am 27 and the exact same way and been like this for years now. It wasn't like this when i was younger. I feel like an old man now. I mainly just sit/lay in bed all day and alternate between my iphone and ipad. Sometimes i get some work done on my computer. I get up only when necessary. I don't know if its depression, or hormonal, or apathy or sleep-related or nutritional or what. I keep going to doctors and they do routine tests and everything comes back pretty normal. I'm on antidepressants but they don't seem to do much. So i dunno.

Me too. I'm naturally low energy but I take two meds which cause fatigue so that could be some of the problem.

Get off the couch and start doing some exercise. Your energy will come back. You may not be overweight but you probably have a low metabolism and very little muscle mass.

During my 20's for the longest time I was convinced I had mono. It turned out I was just really bored.

Same problems here. I think old people have more energy than I do. Actually, I can see that they do.
