Is it normal to feel so paranoid all the time

Wanted to see what everyone thought.....over the past year or so I have been freaking out about every day things and having mini almost panic attacks. I need to check everything before I leave the house, door is locked, stove is off, dog has food etc. I do it every time I leave the house or even think about going out. I wouldn't say that is controlls my life, buy just takes a few extra minutes out of my life. Do I have OCD or is it normal to panic if you think you forgot one thing or to count and check things over and over again?

Anxiety can make you do all those things... meds can help with that... obviously I'm going to say, see your doctor... they'll know what to ask and determine the best treatment for you.. :)

Thank you captain obvious. I was simply asking if people with OCD have experienced this or if I am normal

    • Well since I'm Captain Obvious, then I'll point out that YOU wrote: "Wanted to see what everyone thought." You didn't specify that you were asking people with OCD what their opinion is.

Go see a doctor; maybe you have a personality disorder.
