Is it normal that I feel like with every year of my life the universe throws more and more shovels of shit at me? It's almost like life is trying to make a point.
Omg yes. I could have written that word for word. And I think the point it's trying to make is "give up!"
Just think, all that shit makes for great fertilizer. Start to appreciate the little things more. The universe is neither good or bad, don't blame it for your feelings of discomfort.
It doesn't get worse, it gets more challenging, and overcoming those challenges is what makes life better. If however you constantly falter in the face of responsibilities, then things down downhill because more shit piles on and you're still not over with the old shit.
im still debating myself whether life gets better or worse as time goes on :S I'm sure this shitty economy is a major factor in my pessimistic views.
