Is it normal to feel too exposed while i sleep?

No matter what I'm wearing or how hot/cold the room is, I can't sleep if I'm not under a blanket. At least half of my body has to be covered, or else I feel extremely exposed.
I don't get scared of the dark or something, but it's incredibly uncomfortable and impossible to fall asleep if I don't feel covered.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it relatively normal?

Same. I cocoon myself so only my nose and mouth are showing. So safe and cozy! ^-^

If my arm or leg is hanging down the side of the bed, I have to pull them back up or else the boogyman will pull me in under the bed

Completely normal. Maybe it's something going back to childhood where a blanket would be a comfort.
