Is it normal to feel uneasy in new places?

I recently visited a new shopping mall and I felt absolutely uneasy while walking in it because I really have no aims in there.

I don't know why my family is so excited because they want to see more but what I want to leave it desperately because there's nothing I want to buy. [My sister is looking the clothes and I've nothing to do.]

I don't usually feel this when I am out in the open, like when I am visiting parks.

I have a similar thing with going to new places. It can be caused by more than social anxieties, it can be with a deep-rooted fear after getting lost in a new place one when you were young

It can simply be a social phobia, which seems the most common

It can even be autism, you really can't know for sure unless you seek help from a medical professional.

Yes. I think that for me it has to do with my social anxieties/phobia.

Of course you are normal. You get used to a place, then BAM!! There's a new place that everyone wants to go to, and you just don't want to go. I get it.
