    Nope.. That's really bad for your teeth, they have a natural layer that protects them, and by filing your teeth you remove that layer and you're more likely to get damage to your teeth. You should mention that to him.
    And teeth are supposed to have sharp points lol. If it's really bothering him he should see a dentist, not file his teeth ever.
