    Perhaps you could dial it back a notch? Not everything needs to be expressed to the ultimate degree. Here are some other words/phrases:

    Is not to my taste
    Have an indisposition towards
    Am dissatisfied with
    Disapprove of
    Causes disfavour
    Is out of favour
    Is disfavourable
    Am disinclined to enjoy
    Have enmity towards
    Find objectionable
    Dislike
    Show disapprobrium to
    Am hostile towards
    Really do not like
    Causes repugnance
    Loathe
    Detest
    Hate

    It's a scale and everyone feels a point on the scale even if they express completely off or completely on. The truth is never totally black or white.

      Personally I'm against the use of the H word. My mum has told me never to use this word. I could say, "I don't like the manners of X.", but never that I hated X. My mum is wonderful.

    Hate is not a strong word. It's just a way for people to describe the way they feel about something. Hate is just a word, one that happens to serve a purpose. If you can't handle it your a pussy.
