Is it normal to find most people don't get this site?

Are there very many other people like me, who've noticed that about half of the people who post here are asking, instead of "IIN," "Is it cool?" When they ask like "Is it normal to philosophize and think deep thoughts?" or "is it normal to be a natural-born fighting machine?" or "is it normal to not give a damn about the rules?"--CLEARLY they are actually asking "Is it COOL...?" Do other people notice this? People using this site to fish for applause?

...oh, lordy: am I doing that myself, like right now? Hmm... no, no I'm not. I think. I just want to know if others notice that trend--to turn "IIN" into "IIC."

    Yeah, I know waht you mean. They probably know that thir situation is some-what normal, they are just either seeking for advice or comments to make them feel better.

    I don't think it's a trend. I think they're just fishing for compliments. Everyone likes to feel good about themselves.. :D

    Yes, but don't forget how big your ego can get without you even noticing, I can start a story with "I'm not proud of this but..." and end up finishing with "am I awesome or what!?"
