Is it normal to frequently think out loud?

The act itself isn't what bothers me. I find that, more often than not, unless I articulate a thought verbally, I can't stop thinking it. Sometimes I'll repeat a sentence in my head for minutes, unless I say it out loud to myself, at which point it goes away.

This sounds like OCD, no worries, millions of people suffer from this. Due to so many sufferers there is effective treatment for this. Of course you may not have it, only a professional could tell you for sure.

  • You might want to see a doctor about this. It cools indicate a cognitive problem, especially if you can't move on without vocalising things. You can get therapy to overcome that kind of thing
