I was scared to get my first tattoo. I got it on my left arm. It felt like the tattoo artist was cutting me. I use to cut myself and I realized that I got a rush. Since then I have gotten a few more. Each time I get a rush when she does it. Has anyone else gotten that rush?
Yeah that's how I feel when I get a piercing... My tattoo is on my ribs so I didn't get a rush it just was excruciating lol but I totally get what you mean.
Yeah that makes sense. You sound masochistic. Tattoos are permanent though. Might want to rethink your methods of feeling pain.
the pain from getting a tattoo is amazin and so addictive i got a star on my rist for my first then i got a matching one later this week im going for both my forearms coverered in script writing i love the feel <3 and the piercing feeling have a flesh hole and snake bites want my tounge done aswell :)

Well, I can't imagine any other reason to get a tattoo, because they look like shit.
I used to cut also and the rush of the pain of getting a tattoo is similar. I think it is normal.
I don't know about that cutting myself part, but I got a tattoo on my foot and that shit hurt like a motha..
I've heard this exact same thing from so many people, I have no choice but to assume that it's very normal.
yeah i kinda understand what you mean. one of the last tattoos that i got, it was like he was slashing my back apart with a stanley knife for two hours and the pain is kind of addictive but i wouldnt get a tattoo just to feel the pain. just make sure you dont get a crappy tattoo just for the hell of it.
