they purposely make the iphone chargers weak at the joints, so they break and you have to keep buying them. find me one iphone user that still using the charging chord that came with the phone.(mine broke just now and im at 4% battery and its my alarm clock.) AND THEN THEY CHARGE THE CHORDS AT 18$. i will buy my third tommorow, that means i spent 60$ on just charging chords. absolutely unbelievable. and of course they had to change the charger design from past models, so you had to buy a new one even though you have 1 already from you last phone.

they purposely slow down old iphones with unoptimized software and lock the phone so you cant switch back. ios 7 ruined my iphone 4, i never wanted to upgrade.

they do not allow you to take music from other iphones, if you plug your iphone filled with 1000s of songs into a new computer, goodbye 1000 songs, you have to start from 0. 2 of my friends lost their entire librarys of music. thats a HUGE issue, and completely unnecessary.

i understand they have to make a profit, but why do you have to go this low apple?

    I had this discussion with cousin who bought mac even when his all work required windows. Then he spent around 18 months to get windows work as Virtual Machine. During this time he couldn't work on his main software so he spent that time in learning new software. In same money he could have bought high performance machine plus accessories and most importantly he lost more than few projects during this time.

    While discussing how expensive mac itself and it's accessories are, he argues yup they have their standards and they make sure that only they make accessories for their products(while discussing their different charging ports every new model).

    And during whole discussion I am thinking, buddy you don't even have money to praise their standards neither you are getting projects because of your stupid decision and you have wasted 18 months. Strange how people get fooled by Apple even when they can't afford it.

    So I finally send my Ipod to the Apple store and they tell me they rated it a classic 4 days ago and they won't repair them any more. Gotta love a company that won't stand behind a $500 music machine.

    Apple used to be the forward thinking company, IBM was the money grubber, then... it all changed. Isn't Steve Jobs a genius?

    Maybe learn a little about soldering and such and you can bypass all those charger issues. Also, if they change the spec of chargers (not just the plug design), there are ways around that too. You don't have to be a slave to Apple, you chose that path for yourself.
