Is it normal to get nervous when not knowing the time?

I have a strange thing where I get very upset, and anxious if I can't know what time it is. If there is no clock available, I become very afraid that I will go off schedule or something bad will happen because I don't know the time. If I can't see the time when I'm in a room. I will not be able to focus. Is this normal?

It may be a disease. When you are in a situation like that, just try to calm yourself down by thinking "I am not late. I have to be less nervous. I am not late." You may have to repeat.

What you describe is just like classic obsessive compulsive disorder. Lots of people display similar behavior to varying degrees.

In class, I must check the clock frequently or I will go crazy.

No, I don't think that's normal, but a lot of people have the need to see what time it is even if they don't have anything to do at any certain time. Time is man made.

    Wear a watch.
