Listen to different music. Watch different shows. Find new friends. I so rarely hear women refered to britches unless they are actually being a cunt. Then they deserve it

It's only trashy music which does that which is filled with trashy shit anyways. If you guy friend keeps calling women 'bitches' (as a group term) then that's pretty immature of him. Hang out with someone else.

I do get pretty angry when males refer to the female group as a whole as "bitches." I also don't like it when guys call their girlfriends that, or any other name, and the same for girls who call their boyfriends degrading names. I don't get mad every time someone gets angry with someone and calls them a bitch. It does bother me that most people reserve this term only for females, but people who call someone a bitch regardless of gender, I don't really care..

I think it is a completely disrespectful term for a woman and any man or boy who calls women bitches, has no class at all. Be it some mega rich rapper or some high school virgin trying to be dope, it only shows their ignorance and immaturity.
Any woman who dates, sleeps with or marries a male who uses that term for a woman, is a fool and has no self respect.

In my group of friends, (boy and girl friends, no dating relationships *yet*) I'm known as the skinny fatass bitch. But if I'm CALLED a bitch, y'all gonna regret talking out loud.. Cuz then first of all, you'll be called a bitch back, then ur ginna be told "go fuck ur self", and then I just kinda scare them off. I don't think I belong with my friends cuz I'm the big meanie of the group. Actually not really cuz my bestie pokes my face, I get punched by one of my friends that will soon not be my friend anymore, I get made fun of by the same guy, and one of my friends can't keep her arm off of my shoulder, so I'm just like "BRAH!!! It's normal to be annoyed slightly because the word is defined/used in a derogatory manner. Men are raised in various ways, and you will encounter many men that will completely disrespect you and think of you as nothing but a slut and piece of ass. Learn to accept you for who you are, and even affirm to yourself the words that others use against you. I don't mean to say this in a bad way, like hate yourself, but say that you are a bitch and a slut and all of that to yourself and you are fine with it. But tell yourself you are these things in a neutral, unemotional way. You are redefining the word to your own mind so that you do not react to it. Then, it will start to lose power when others call you it. Also define yourself in positive, good ways. Tell yourself you are beautiful, talented, and wonderful. Of course, when others tell you these things, they will also lose their power and you will no longer feel flattered by such compliments. In fact, words will just start to roll off of you that they won't even matter anymore, and you'll just ignore them. At that point, you are no longer defined or influenced by societies approval or rejection and can live and be how you want to be. You are just who you are.

Men who call women bitches have issues with women.They hate them. These men are douchbags & should be avoided at all costs.

We call women bitches because ALOT of you BITCH, like some BITCHES. Fuck respect - if a bitch is saying my name in negative context to her friends when I'm not there - shes a bitch. Men can be bitches, but bitching is less common in a group of men. FACT.

Since I'm British, more often than not the only time I hear women being collectively referred to as 'bitches' is in American hip hop or on American television.

So if I hear it in person, it's usually because that person is emulating Americans for humorous effect.

I can see why it might bother a girl when it isn't being used jokingly, but I get the impression it's rarely used in a pejorative way to cause offence - just as a casual slang term.

i do it as a force of habit for girls whose name i do not know for girls i actually know and am friends with i would never refer to in that way
