Of course it's 100% normal. After a while we become dependent on social networks to alleviate boredom or avoid dealing with "real life " but they really haven't been around that long (although if you're in your 20s this may be almost inconceivable right now ). People have worked on technology but not so much themselves or the encouragement of our overall growth & progress as a society. It's made interaction less genuine, and more empty, while providing an escape for those trying to run away from life or growing up and accepting responsibility for their actions. Social networks are tools to be used in conjunction with development of skill interacting with others and your life, not a substitute. Go out & enjoy life. There's nothing like true IRL interaction. It's the most fulfilling way to create complete, real, rewarding relationships. Have fun.
I got really tired of Facebook. I really liked it when I first started going but slowly and surely everyone turned into a bunch of knobs. I no longer use Facebook for this reason. Facebook does bad things to people.
I think that social networks can be useful, but they just became completely hyped.
after social networking created so much hype what is the next step? idk but it's totally normal. I spent loads of time on twitter til I realized how much time I wasted just trying to let someone know what I ate for lunch :S
