Is it normal to getsleep paralysis if your feet are uncovered in sleep

I have always suffered from issues with my sleep ever since I was a kid. Mainly due to being worried about possibly missing something fun or important. However, I also have suffered from childhood O.C.D. but was never medicated for it. Mainly because I learned to function some what normally without. So much so that I wasn't even aware of having it until I gave birth to my son a few months before my 21st birthday. Unknown to me I began having really bad insomnia and issues where my thoughts just felt like on overload. It was during this that I happened to notice a bit of a pattern. If I were to attempt sleep and not have my feet covered by either socks or my sheets. I would wake up in a terrifying state of, I guess, what they call sleep paralysis. Being afraid of sounding insane I eventually went to my primary doctor and informed them of the insomnia. Leaving out the part about the paralysis episodes I was having. They looked over my medical history in my records and discovered my childhood O.C.D. issues. I am now 26 years old and on Zoloft for my anxiety with the O.C.D. Which helps to an extent for the insomnia, but I still have the issue with my feet being uncovered. I'm worried that there could be more to my issues with insomnia then just a simple O.C.D. thing. So I guess the question is has this happened to anyone else out there and is it normal?
