Is it normal to go back to being a hippie?

I learned about hippiedom a little bit, and still have yet to learn what this "not accepted" lifestyle is, could it be drugs, free love and sex and protests? Or is it simply a life of silence while smoking out a restaurant dressed in exotic hippie clothes? I don't know, but I don't want the stereotypes I imparted from age c. 16. I reject mainstream society, but this involves peace and quiet, typing, listening to classical music, and when the time is right, The Doors, psychedelic rock, health foods, sandals (I'll buy them online), and making my whole religion and ideology into one "hippie" ideal, is any of this normal? (please don't think I'm crazy)

If you want to be a hippie then by all means do that, but you're putting yourself in some arbitrary box that you'll find you don't exactly fit into. My point is to just be and don't worry what you call it.

I see the advice from normal people reigns supreme, come join me in demonism, which is a cult I'll start.

Nice, I watched 'The X Files', and you will believe, but hippies are concerned with combining supernatural beliefs (religion) with nature, and what does a religious person know about nature, other than an atheist, antitheist or anything like that?

The Bible and the Quran (the 2 most widespread religious texts in the world right?) both promote a healthy understanding, and even responsibility to the world around us.

I don't endeavour to interfere in any wars, or protest, or put a flower in someone's gun (or hose), nor am I tied into the stereotyped "flower power", love-ins and Woodstock or some cheap crap, I'm tied into politics with the government and running as king with all that I believe in, including a centre-right politics where I have a reactionary counter-revolution of dismantling all modern society and returning it to a strictly religious-based society, when the other hippies are leaning on the left in the political spectrum. I prefer not to dismantle the government but to replace the government with the high respect of a king (me!), man!

Not everything needs a label. Just be yourself and like what you like.

What about just being yourself: just being a hippie?
