Is it normal to go into things thinking it's gonna be ok

I've got a habit of going into things thinking it's going to be ok then when it finally comes to doing/going, I start freaking out. Eg I organized to travel over see's, was all excited about going then when it came time to go I started freaking. I went, then came home 2 weeks early. An I seem to do this quite a lot in different situations. IIN?

    yes, i believe that it's normal, people in different situations do it all of the time. for example, when people buy something they don't need but make themselves think that they need it.
    it sounds like you think in the heat of the moment, that when the moment hits it seems right but later on it doesn't seem right at all.
