I want to go see this band at a place near to me, but I don't have any friends who listen to them. I've considered going alone, but I thought that might seem a little weird. I could also ask my dad, since he likes the band I listen to also, but would that be a little weird as well?
I went to see a band with a guy friend and his dad years ago. We all like the band, so why not?
I take my mother and grandmother to see dark comedy shows. We have the same sense of humour. It's my grandmother's fault I have the sick sense of humour I do.
Nothing wrong with going by yourself, either. I went to the final ever gig one of my favourite bands did by myself. None of my friend's liked them and I didn't want to miss out. I've gone to another favourite band by myself because I couldn't afford the time to fly to a different city to see them with my friends and they couldn't afford the time to see them in my city.
Hell naw, not weird. I wish my dad liked concerts cause I woulda gone with him in a heartbeat.

My folks took my sister and I to concerts all the time when I was too young to drive myself. No big deal.
