Well, that stuff is really bad for people, but hating them won't help them sober up. I once knew a tweaker who stole one hundred dollars out of my wallet in my purse. I do not wish him well, because he stole from me. I can't stand thieves. Funny thing is he eventually got hit by a car, because he was jaywalking.
Even though I am a fully recovered tobacco addict, I have very little tolerance for drug use. I think addicts could volunteer to be permanently deported to Africa in exchange for one year of free drugs when they get there. Far cheaper to fund this program than live with the social damage that drug addicts cause.
i tries not to hate anyone
i does my best to not associate with peoples who can be crazy violent unpredictable and dishonest and most hard drug peoples fall into one or morea them categories
These types of people are scum. They steal, lie all the time for their fix.
You aren't anyone's moral police, you can hate whoever you want but its pretty stupid to do it over stuff that's none of your buisiness. You're probably one of those assholes who thinks because they don't do drugs or anything that you're better than everyone else. Piss off.
You could be right. I mean, I do drink alcohol and smoke green every now and then. But it kinda is my business if they’re doing it right in front of me???
If somebody chooses to smoke a cigarette or crack or do whatever in front of you it isn't really your buisiness, regardless of how healthy or good of an idea it is. You can't go through life getting mad at people who don't go out of their way to fit your comfort level.
I personally have a pathological fear of needles. I have frequent nightmares about syringes. I won't even get a flu shot, and this is the main reason i've never tried heroin if offered it. That doesn't give me a right to get mad at a stranger for shooting up on a park bench next to me. Because it's not their responsibility to make me feel comfortable.
Support. I see people involved in hard drugs as seriously mentally ill and support them going through rehabilitation. Hate is a strong word. I may dislike them, but I also have to recognize that most of their actions are results of addiction and deep psychological issues.
Coming from a semi-hard drug usage past, I can't hate them. I abused alcohol, pills and opiates. I never thought life would take me down that road in a million years but it did. However that doesn't mean I tolerate it. We all have a choice. I made the choice to do those things and I made the choice to completely cut those things out of my life so I could move on and have a career and a relationship with my family. Again, I don't hate users, but I can't go easy on them either. They have a choice and every ounce of me hopes that people on that road find their way again.
When they are your family is complicated. I feel compassion for addicts.
I was friends with a drug addict. She stole a few of my rare manga books and one of my sex toys, then left to another state. I kind of get stealing the manga books since they were selling for 50-1000 dollars each online, but why steal my sex toy? They sell them for ten bucks on eBay! Also, I can't just go to eBay or Amazon and get those books for what I originally paid(8-12 bucks) so I'm shit out of luck.
i dont hate them but it's depressing as hell because i have very negative experience with one in my life. can't be mad only sympathetic, their life has got to suck hella bad.
I hate the actions, but not the person or the drug-use itself. Since users of hard drugs tend to act like dicks, it's typical to dislike them.
It's wrong to hate people under a blanket, but in this society it's become a normal thing to hate drug-users. I don't think they're all victims, but realize that once you're in the wrong environment and get hooked, it's hell to get back out. If you want to fix the problem, you need to have some sympathy for them. Ignoring them is just going to create more problems.
