Is it normal to hate conspiracy theorists? that harass you?

I do not hate all conspiracy theorist since some conspiracy's make sense. However there is some that say they have one and wont give any supporting evidence on why they believe so. When you say "I don't believe that" simply say "Since its true".

Its usually something absurd like "I was harry potter in a past life and they took away my powers. I know this because I wear glasses and my glasses got broken". I also know you are the redheaded girl since you chose to talk to me on july 9th" and they base this on nothing.

Than get upset at you for calling them a crazy. When you say "No I dont think I am that redheaded girl" they say "I know you are you just do not know it yet". Is it wrong to think a person like this is insane? If you say "I am a boy" they say "You only think that you will soon become a woman"! Its the will of the aliens".

They are always dead serious too. When you say you do not believe it they will harass you till you say "Ok I believe it". That or complain and attack you and make you look bad in-front of people.

I mean doesn't this sound like a sign of mental illness?

The thing about conspiracy theorists is that sometimes they're probably right and we don't realise.

The reason they're so serious and fanatical is because they may in some cases have stumbled onto something and it's hard to get anyone to listen or believe.

Imagine knowing some important secret and having nobody take you seriously.

    • So you believe that is someone states something as fact they should not present why they believe so? If I say "That fairies are going to steal our hair when we are sleeping so we need to sleep with a million candles or we will become bald" is anyone going to believe that? NO, so should not I explain why I believe it based on either observation or else overall knowledge? Not just "Do it or I will toss rocks at your house" like a fucking lunatic. I really do not care what they believe if the only argument they have is "because I said so" I am not going to take them seriously. Unless they present an ACTUAL reason to believe so. The above did not have any real reasons they say "Because its true". Just because you say something is true does not make it so.

They usually do have some sort of explanation. And just because you say something doesn't make it true or untrue, it either is or isn't, regardless of explanation being present or not. Maybe the rock throwing was actually a way of getting the aliens off your roof, maybe he was helping you. I demand that you prove to me that he wasn't.

        • What if I dont want rocks tossed at my house? If he creates damage does it really matter what his disillusioned mind believes he was doing? "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".

He saves you from aliens and all you're worried about is pebbles on your weatherboard.

It just sounds like you hate one person in particular. Just stay away from them if that's a possibility.
