Is it normal to hate facebook?

I freggn HHHAAAAATE FACEBOOK, its brought nothing but drama, nosy ass people, gossip, fakes!! All of it is just negative bullshit that no one should need!!

I hate them both myspace and facebook is a waste of lifetime I know lots of people who have started crap on those dumb social networking and people who spend all day on it.. Life is short

I don't like it either. It's nothing but trouble and frankly quite annoying. At first it was OK to see what some old friends were up to but that quickly wears off....and the amount of information on there....damn....I don't care to know any of it really....I don't care what you're doing minute to minute and I don't want to feel like I "have to" reply to people or friend people or post what I'm doing all the time-and thus have people know where I am and what I'm doing constantly. No thanks!!

But myspace sucks so if you're asking if I like FB or myspace better I'd have to choose FB. Myspace is way too clunky and very irritating with all the personalizations and music playing when I look at people's pages. Some people have so much crap on their page that it takes 10 years to scroll down it whilst listening to their shitty choice in music. FB got it right with their page design, that's for sure.

Totally normal. I HATE facebook. Firstly, we are losing our privacy even with "privacy settings", and secondly, it makes you realize how petty and pathetic people are with their fake and annoying comments and status updates. People just say things for attention and it is so impersonal. Yes, it can be useful for connecting, starting events, sharing pictures, and spreading awareness (sometimes), but unfortunately it is mostly used in a wasteful way. Sigh.

I only have it for my family but friends join too but I hate myspace and twitter is well... It is alright I'd rather not ise it though

Your hating it for the wrong reason.

If you are going to hate facebook, then hate it for the updating layout and advertising.

If you just have not fixed your privacy settings and then your private things leak out. Then thats your own fault. But from my experience, they should have a more 'private' setting as a default when you make your account.

Maybe if you went out instead of staying in on the computer and ps3 then you would know their faces and socialise with people face to face! :/

This is a valid point. It's extremely difficult to actually delete a Facebook account too. Not to mention the freedom with which your information is given away.
