Is it normal to hate human voices and the sounds of talking humans.

Do you ever feel like spoken language corrupts and manipulates or alters the natural content of our lives in a very violent way such that every word or statement is like a trap or a weapon and functions as some sort of vandalism of life and art?

Get a anti-aid and adjust it as you feel inclined.

My Nana, God bless her fear soul, used to take her hearing out put it on the table when people were talking shit and tell everyone, here speak to that, I'll catch up with with it later.

As someone who has struggled to be understood (and still sometimes is misunderstood), both spoken and written language are tremendously important to me. Also, because of my accent, I'm extremely aware of my voice and how I use it. I get comments on my telephone manner all the time because I use my voice to put people at ease. I'm easy to talk to.

However, if I hated people (or myself) and my primary aim was always to make people feel bad then I could use my words for that purpose too and would probably be very good at it, and an absolutely horrible person. So, yes, I can agree with you to an extent but not that the entirity of spoken language is a corrupting influence.

I think it does. I feel some small loss of energy or something tangible when someone starts cursing, whether it be myself or other people. I just hate the sound of it. I definitely think words are more important than we treat them. That being said, I don't hate it when other people talk. Maybe you should focus more on what you say, and what positivity you are putting out.
