Is it normal to hate it when people call ships 'she'?

  • "Hate" is probably a little intense, but I sure thought it was strange the first time I noticed people referring to boats (or cars) as females.

    I think I'm going to start referring to my curling iron as "he" - "he" curls my hair beautifully, "he" make my hair so sexy. My bicycle can be a "he" too - I sit on him and away we go, I like to make him move fast.

      Yes. I did think of that re. Hate is a strong word. I think i would go nuts if i started to refer to inanimate objects as 'she' or 'he'. I may try it today as an experiment,or a theraputic activity to see if it helps.
