I tend to cringe when people break into song lol. I was the only little girl not into Disney princesses growing up because of that.
Tenacious D is the only one I like. I feel like Jack Black is so talented. He really can sing and do it all.
every movie 1930-1950 has the same overbearing orchestral score
its rare to find a single movie without the exact same type of music slightly tailored to the movement and action on film
i get the feeling that the hollywood musicians union was run by the mob and strongarmed their way into studios or somethin
not a single old movie ive seen does a single thing different
Omfg I've felt so strongly about this for so long and I've said this to so many people & no one gets it. The scores of old movies are incredibly grating & my fucking boiled steak dad loves those movies at max volume. My ears on the holidays...they bleed.
I sincerely hate the old classics because of this.
They're such shit...duz is saddlegoose
I hate them too. They are the very epitome of cringe. It's even worse when actors that are supposed to be serious and well established take part in it like that absolute pile of trash that is Les Miserables.
Hugh Jackman dramatically breaking into song brings me a great laugh at least.
The only musical movie I can stand is Grease.
Try the original hairspray, the John waters one. I don’t like musicals but I love that film haha
