Is it normal to hate putting tools away?

I'm an organized, neat and clean person, but for some reason I have this major aversion to putting tools away after I've used them.

When I fix or make something, I promptly clean up any scraps or mess from the job, but tend to just chuck the tools somewhere in the vicinity of the tool box area.

As a kid, I'd 'borrow' my dad's tools and often would leave them lying around and he'd yell so much at me for it so you'd think I would've got in the habit of putting them away but nope. As a kid, I left virtually everything a mess though, not just tools. I grew into a neat person with age.

IIN?

Everything that I frequently use must stay on my desk.
Tools, stationery, pc parts and cables, etc.

If I pack something away, I waste time to store and retrieve it, and it will ultimately end up on my desk again.

Even after cleaning up, I've got screwdrivers, knives and cables still lying around here.

I always pack away the tools that I use less frequently though.

Totally normal, how are your tools going to be "at arms reach" when you need them if you put them All away?

Haha ya I do that too. I'm not exactly very neat and organized, a little but nothing crazy. But tools, ya they take a while to end up back in the box.
