Is it normal to hate someone when they're coughing?

I try to be a reasonable guy and I'm typically very patient. I don't have any history of anger problems or anything. But if I'm somewhere and somebody has a coughing fit (not just one but a series of coughs) I begin to hate them with every fiber of my being. I know it's silly because I swallow wrong too every once in a while, but I can't help just wanting to jump a across and smack the person for coughing. Is it normal?

    you're a shithead, people can't help their coughing. Just as you can't stop sneezing. Why don't you find legit things to be mad about like muslim savages murdering non-muslims today and everyone taking the muslims side?

    I have noticed that my primal urge when someone makes a lot of noise by coughing is to be aggressive. However, I realize that since they are the ones who have to cough, they are already a hundred times more annoyed by it than I am, so I just hope that it passes and that they feel better.

    I hate the sound of coughing, especiall when small children do it because they sound so pathetic when they do it.

    Oh GOD.
    I get the same way with people typing on a keyboard or clapping. When I hear hear typing/clapping, I get homicidal. Honestly, it ruins ANYTHING that I may be doing, and I just want to tear their throats out.

    Should... should I seek help?

    It annoys me when I'm in class but they can't help it. I've been sick lately but I choose my coughing fits when it's quiet.
