Is it normal to hate texting?

I don't hate texting itself, but I can't stand it when you're trying to have a conversation with somebody and they open up their phone and start texting. Then you continue with what you're saying and they just nod every once in a while to make it look like their listening to you. I just think it's soo rude and it shows that they're not interested in anything you have to say to them. It just makes me feel like I'm being ignored, and for all I know they could be talking about me to the person they're texting. Also, I know two people who have died in car accidents because they were texting. I know it's an easy and convenient way to communicate, but I just wish people knew when it was appropriate to do it and when they should just set the phone down. I'm a 19 year old female btw.

Oh my god. I hate it more than anything ever.
Did you know, by the way, that childrens' ability to learn in school has substantially decreased from the past decade? Apparently it's due to the education system, they're coming out with some education reform, but I'm so positive that technology has had MOST to do with it.

  • Texting is srs buisness. I hate texting, people don't even know what a verbal conversation is anymore. In 10 years you'll plug a computer to your brain and it will type out everything you're thinking about and sending it to anyone :/

I hate that. I like people to pay attention to me when I am talking to them. If they aren't the bitch comes out.
