Is it normal to hate the cookie monster?

Let me start by telling you guys, who is this cookie monster? Well he is a Muppet on the long running children's television show Sesame Street. He is best known for his voracious appetite and his famous eating phrases, such as "Me want cookie!" "Me eat cookie!" and "Om nom nom nom"
So he doesn't even eat the cookies. What he is doing is just wasting the cookies. So is it normal for someone to hate a fictional character who is beloved by millions because he is not eating the cookie?

    He can't ingest the cookies, because he's a muppet. If anything you should feel sorry for him.

    The rats eat the broken cookies off of the floor when everyone goes home each night. What's the problem?

    He's not a Muppet you retard, The Muppets are their own brand. He sort of a puppet, but not a Muppet.

      Before calling someone retard, do your research retard. The creator of cookie monster is Jim Henson who also as created the "brand" Muppets . He calls all his puppets, Muppets which includes the cookie monster. They are known as the Sesame Street's Muppets.

      For me Elmo is just plain simply annoying. My favorite muppets from sesame street are The Dracula 'Count von count', Bert and Ernie and Oscar.

    I remember once reading somewhere that it's not cookies that they use, it's decorated rice crackers. It used to bother me seeing that food wasted. I stopped caring about it a long time ago when I noticed how much food gets thrown out every night at work. I figure it's a fact of life that food gets wasted.

      I agree with you food gets wasted a lot. Even John Oliver did a piece on Food Waste in his show, Last Week Tonight.

        In some countries, it's illegal for stores to throw out the food. They just donate it.
